Jean-Philippe Turgeon, Partner

A law graduate from Université du Québec à Montréal (LL.B.), Me Turgeon is a member of the Quebec Bar and a partner at Therrien Couture since 2009.

Me Turgeon mainly practices in commercial litigation, banking law, reorganization, and franchising.  He is regularly invited to speak on matters related to his areas of practice.

Over the last years, he has gathered a significant experience in franchising, in Quebec and elsewhere in Canada, mainly in the preparation and review of Franchise Agreements, their upholding by the courts and gave legal and strategic advices for the establishment and expansion of franchising networks.

He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association (Bankruptcy and Insolvency Section) and the Turnaround Management Association. He sits on the Board of the Fondation Carrefour pour elle.

Me Turgeon´s audacity and enthusiasm have made him a powerful negotiator who leaves nothing to chance. Me Turgeon also knows how to gain the trust of his clients and the courts.
