Me Ginette Matteau holds a degree in law from the Université de Sherbrooke (LL.B.) and is a member of the Quebec Bar since 1984.
Throughout the years, she has served a diversified clientele issued from the industry, manufacture, finance and services sectors.
Her experience is centered on business law, mainly in mergers and acquisitions and in corporative reorganizations. She also negociates and drafts numerous agreements, such as Shareholders’ Agreements, Credit Agreement, Supply and Distribution Agreements and leases.
Over the years, Me Matteau has been a lecturer at the Université de Sherbrooke for the administration and law baccalaureats and for the Master in Business Administration. She has also teached commercial and corporative law at the École du Barreau.
An outstanding communicator, she has lectured on many subjects through training for young entrepreneurs.
She actually sits on the boards of directors of the Défi-SM, Atelier Poly-Tech inc, and Défi Récup-Air.
Her broad experience brings her a great ability to synthetize and a great efficiency in her files. She makes it a duty to find fast and effective solutions, event when facing complex problematics.
