Practicing taxation and business law in the Estrie region for over 15 years, Karine is a partner since 2017.
Mindful of the realities facing SMEs and Quebec entrepreneurs, Karine is a valuable resource in buy-sell transactions, amalgamations, corporate reorganizations, setting up employee shareholding, intergenerational transfers of ownership as well as tax planning. She also has expertise in the areas of estate and post-mortem planning.
Over the years, Karine has developed excellent business relations with her clients, which has allowed her to intervene on a precautionary basis in different day-to-day activities affecting their businesses.
Karine has also been teaching business law at the Quebec Bar School since 2010.
With first-hand experience as an entrepreneur, Karine knows the challenges facing SMEs and is always attentive to their needs and ready to find customized solutions for her long-time clients.

The business issues and taxation implications of buying or selling a business are often complex, which is what makes these transactions especially appealing to me. They allow me to provide value-added services to my clients for a transaction that often represents a very important stage in the life cycle of their business.
I find it important to be involved with the business community in my region. On a professional basis, I have been a part of the regional committee in Estrie in connection with taxation and financial planning for the APFF. And recently, I served on the legal committee for the Canada Summer Games that were held in Sherbrooke.
