Meticulous, straightforward and efficient, Marianne is appreciated by those she works with and is a member of a number of work teams, primarily in civil and commercial litigation.
An accomplished student, Marianne had the opportunity to work at different law firms in Vancouver and Quebec as well as for a multinational in the mining sector. During her bachelor studies, she received an award for excellence in legal drafting and was a Pro Bono student and vice-president of the student association.
Marianne completed her post-secondary studies by obtaining her Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University, where she worked as a research assistant and in a legal aid firm. She also successfully appeared before an administrative tribunal in Ontario for a legal aid matter. While studying common law, she received an academic excellence award in a course about information privacy law.
In her practice, Marianne always seeks to innovate legal services she offers so as to ensure the continued satisfaction of her clients in all respects.

I find it important to analyze issues and breakdown problems in order to get a clear picture of each situation. In addition to preparing opinions, drafting pleadings and advising colleagues in different stages of litigation, I also serve on the advising committee of a local business.
I am particularly interested in encouraging entrepreneurship among women. Causes related to fostering self-confidence, student retention among young people as well as sustainable development are also very important to me.
