Pierre-André practices commercial law, primarily in the areas of real estate and security backed financing. Before joining the firm, he practiced in a large national law firm where he advised different actors in the mortgage industry, including lenders and borrowers, such as, financial institutions, insurance companies, and real estate investment funds. He has extensive experience in syndicated loans and, on many occasions, has arranged immovable and movable hypothecs for lender syndicates.
As part of his practice, he also counsels and assists vendors, purchasers, lessors and lessees in negotiating and completing transactions related to buying or selling real estate and commercial leases.
Pierre-André relies on a pragmatic approach as well as his versatility and discipline to complete the transactions in which he is involved.

As part of my practice in bank financing, I recently acted on behalf of a Canadian mortgage investment fund in connection with the refinancing of a property in downtown Montreal worth $35,000,000. I also assisted an Ontario commercial mortgage lender in the revision of its residential mortgage documents. In the area of real estate transactions, I assisted a Canadian multinational corporation in transferring its real property in Québec.

As such, we decided to get involved with a local school by participating in the governing board as well as the foundation dedicated to special projects and the administration of the school library.
